The new era of personal branding isn’t just a trend, but a strategic move for executives to succeed higher in their career. According to a recent survey by LinkedIn, 70% of professionals consider personal branding to be a critical element for success in today’s business environment.

Many executives are challenged to stand out in the noise of our digital era. A powerful personal brand is not an option anymore, but a necessity. I will share with you below 3 things you can go about it differently to stand out from the crowd in 2024 to reach your individual goal.

1. Leverage Video Content Across Platforms With Social Proof

Creating videos are one of the fastest way to build trust with your audience. With the rise of AI, scammers and fake personas, there’s a huge mistrust people have and it’s understandable the most people are more critical. The fastest way to stand out is to create a lot of video content across different platforms and to make yourself visible. Use data, statistics, your own results, client results and showcase, if it’s a physical product in videos how beneficial they are. Videos captures attention quickly, but it’s easier for people to believe in something when you show what you say and take them behind the scenes. Integrate your own story, and share it in a concise way while backing up what you say. Use opus.pro that creates automatic subtitles and reels for you in a few minutes.

2. Live Streaming For Real-Time Engagement

3. Immersive Content With Strategic Collaboration

Create more interactive content formats like polls, quizzes, interactive stories and surveys on LinkedIn. You can also reshare it on other platforms and collect more data. Looking into my analytics and data more closely has been life-changing to me. It tells you a lot about your audience and how you can adapt your content. By inviting your audience to actively participate, you build a sense of community around your brand. When you let your audience in to work with you on some projects, they feel valued, they feel seen and you create a more engaging experience. It can also lead to powerful collaborations in form of virtual events, webinars, industry conferences that allows you to get exposed to different networks and boosts credibility of your brand.

Once I started to share more surveys on LinkedIn and asked for proactive feedback from my audience on Instagram. It helped me to deliver even better service, products and content. By posting daily on LinkedIn for 14 days straight in a more engaging way has 4x my profile impressions in just two weeks. I gained quickly new followers and connections.

At The End Of The Day..

..it’s beyond videos, live streams, collaborations or focusing too much on what the algorithm does. While these elements are crucial parts to consider, it’s more important to focus on providing actual value and understanding the psychology of human nature.

Focus on creating genuine relationship with people, think of what catches naturally your attention and how you make decisions to buy from someone. Replicate the same things in your own way and put human connection first.

People always feel drawn to the ones that are radical honest, bold and have something they strongly stand for.
