3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Building My Personal Executive Brand

Building a Global Executive Brand Starts With Actions Today That Will Shape Your Future As You Go

1. Embrace Evolution: You Are Not Married to Your Offers and Identity

You are not married to your offers and identity how you represent yourself. While it’s essential to have a clear vision of who you want to be known as in both personal and business spheres, the fear of choosing the ‘wrong’ path (your title, brand, offer) hinders many executives to get started. Personal brands always evolve. I’ve personally pivoted multiple times to arrive at my current identity of my personal brand, anchoring myself in both what I do today and who I aspire to be known as tomorrow. The key is to start your personal brand, as the journey unfolds with every step taken.

2. Go Beyond Expertise: Share Your Personal Story and Lifestyle

You don’t ONLY have to share things around your expertise and give strictly tips for your niche. This is a common thing that held me back for a while of not sharing other type of content asides tips around my expertise. A common misconception is that personal branding should solely focus on sharing professional expertise. Think of your personal brand as a reality show, allowing your audience a behind-the-scenes look at your life beyond business. Share your personal story, hobbies, and lifestyle — while this seems random, these aspects make you human and more relatable. In the world of personal branding, authenticity reigns supreme, and sharing the human side of your journey can strengthen connections with your audience.

3. Leverage the Power of Podcasting and Repurposing Content

Start a podcast in your niche as part of your tool for personal brand building. Share insights on your podcast, connect with influential individuals, and mastermind with other industry peers. You can leverage AI tools to transcribe podcast episodes into written content for social media. This dual strategy not only provides more content in less time but also facilitates connection-building with key players in your industry. It’s a fantastic way to learn from others, share your knowledge, and attract new clients.

In Conclusion & My Invite To YOU

It’s better done, than delayed perfectionism. As a perfectionist myself I found it hard sometimes just to start, because I felt I needed to make it look perfect. But getting ahead allowed me within 8 months 40K followers on Instagram, clients who pay me 4–5 figures on LinkedIn, 99K cash through masterclasss and getting invited on global stages for speaking engagements, TV, media & so much more.

‘’Every master was once a beginner, and improvement comes with action.’’

Don’t delay your progress in pursuit of perfection: Instead, embrace the iterative process of growth on the road to building a personal brand that reflects your authentic self. Remember, it’s not about being flawless from the start but about evolving into the premium version of yourself over time.
